“Wear the world like a loose garment, which touches us in a few places and there lightly.” — St Francis of Assisi
The air is soft
70 degrees
and a breeze
that feels like
a worn cotton sheet
in the confluence
of seasons
just enough
and the smell is sweet
like fresh washed linens
floating on a line
a gentle tease
to soften the unease
the whisper-song
of nearby trees
is music
to appease
just enough
my heartfelt pleas
for peace
